Team Solutions Expert

Dendermonde, Belgium

Are you experienced with Jira and Confluence and ready to take the next step into a broader consulting role?

At Puratech, we're looking for a Team Solutions Expert with an initial focus on Atlassian. You'll work directly with clients to improve how their teams collaborate, manage work and get the most out of their tools.

Atlassian will be at the heart of your role from day one. As you grow with us, you'll also have the opportunity to broaden your expertise into other collaboration and business platforms.

Who we are

Puratech is a growing Belgian technology consultancy based in Dendermonde.

We help organisations improve the way they work through carefully selected software solutions, strong implementation expertise and pragmatic consulting.

Today, Atlassian is one of our core areas of expertise. We work with organisations ranging from growing Belgian companies to enterprise environments with thousands of users, helping them implement, optimise and evolve platforms such as Jira and Confluence.

Our work can range from designing a new Jira environment to cleaning up years of organic growth, improving workflows and governance, supporting Cloud migrations or helping teams adopt a better way of working.

But we're not building Puratech around a single vendor.

We're also expanding our expertise across other platforms and ecosystems, including solutions such as Odoo, XWiki and OpenProject. Which technologies you eventually grow into will depend on your interests, your strengths and the projects we take on together.

We're still a relatively small team and we see that as an advantage.

You'll know the people you work with, have direct access to decision-making and have a real opportunity to influence how we work with clients, how our services evolve and how Puratech grows.

What will you be doing?

Your first focus will primarily be on Atlassian, with Jira and Confluence at the centre of your work.

Depending on the project, you'll:

  • Implement, configure and manage Jira and Confluence environments.
  • Analyse how teams work today and translate their needs into practical solutions.
  • Design and improve workflows, permissions, project structures and configurations.
  • Clean up and optimise existing Atlassian environments.
  • Support migrations, modernisation projects and platform transitions.
  • Advise customers on good practices, governance and sustainable ways of working.
  • Organise workshops and talk directly with users, administrators and stakeholders.
  • Train teams and help them get more value from the tools they use.
  • Troubleshoot issues and investigate how existing environments can be improved.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the Atlassian ecosystem and the wider collaboration and business software landscape.

As your experience at Puratech grows, you'll also get the opportunity to work with other platforms and broaden your role beyond Atlassian.

Who are we looking for?

We're primarily looking for someone at medior level who already understands Jira and/or Confluence well enough to start contributing to real customer environments.

You could already be working as a consultant, but that's certainly not a requirement.

You might just as well be the Jira Administrator, Application Engineer or internal platform specialist that everyone in your organisation turns to when something needs to be fixed, improved or figured out.

Ideally, you have:

  • Around 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with Jira and/or Confluence.
  • A good understanding of how Jira and Confluence are configured and used in real organisations.
  • A technical mindset and the curiosity to investigate how things work.
  • The ability to look beyond the configuration itself and understand why a customer needs something.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in plain language.
  • The confidence to talk directly with customers, users and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English. French is a bonus.
  • A willingness to keep learning, both within the Atlassian ecosystem and beyond it.

Experience with Atlassian Cloud, Data Center, migrations, Jira (Service Management), marketplace apps, scripting or integrations is valuable, but we don't expect you to know everything.

More important to us is that you have a solid foundation, enjoy solving problems and want to keep getting better at your craft.

What kind of person fits Puratech?

We're looking for someone who enjoys combining technology with people.

Someone who doesn't simply build a workflow because a customer asks for five statuses, but first wants to understand what problem those statuses are supposed to solve.

Someone who likes getting their hands dirty technically, but is equally comfortable sitting around a table with users and figuring out what they actually need.

And someone who enjoys sharing knowledge, helping colleagues and contributing to a growing team.

You don't need to arrive as an expert in everything.

We do expect you to be curious, take ownership and be willing to learn.

What do we offer?

You'll join a growing consultancy where you'll have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects while having a genuine influence on how the company develops.

Alongside a competitive salary package based on your experience, we offer:

  • A company car and mobility benefits
  • Meal vouchers and additional allowances
  • Group and hospitalisation insurance
  • Smartphone, phone subscription and home working support
  • Eco-cheques and other employee benefits
  • Access to training, certifications, workshops and industry events
  • A flexible hybrid working environment

In a typical week, you can expect to spend around 2-3 days with customers, with the remaining time worked flexibly from home, our Dendermonde office or a combination of both.

Why Puratech?

There are larger consultancies where you can work with Atlassian.

What we can offer is something slightly different.

You'll join while the team is still small enough for your ideas to matter, but you'll already work on challenging environments where your decisions can affect hundreds or thousands of users.

You'll have room to deepen your Atlassian expertise without having to remain an "Atlassian-only" consultant forever.

And as Puratech grows, you'll have the opportunity to grow with it (technically, as a consultant and potentially into responsibilities that don't even exist yet today).

Interested?

You don't need to tick every box above.

If you have solid Jira or Confluence experience, enjoy solving problems and think you'd like to turn that experience into a broader consulting career, we'd be happy to meet you.
